Falling for Niagara

We made it to Niagara Falls, both of us.  We had quite an adventure going through Canada for a day!  The border agent did not like it that we went through the truck lane and then really gave us the 3rd degree about past employment, reason for going to Canada.  As it turned out we only stayed a day!  Montreal was really busy and it was a nightmare trying to get out so we came back to the States.  Very nice driving the 104 and 12 E across Lake Ontario and staying at the various state campgrounds.

The "Cave of the Winds" an elevator takes you to the bottom of the American Falls, they give you shower shoes and a poncho.

Look Closely.  It is breeding season for the seagulls. There are thousands and the moms just make a nest on the sidewalk and raise their young until they can fly.  They say after 3 months they are just gone.

Here we are in our ponchos below the American Falls getting drenched.  I wish we would have done this first then we would have had the ponchos for all the rain we had on Cape Cod and Boston.
On deck at the Cave of the Winds looking at the Maid of the Mist (our next adventure) across to the Canadian side of the Falls.

This shoreline is just covered in seagulls, it was like being in that movie "The Birds".
