We got our kicks on Route 66

It is Saturday so of course I slept in and John made breakfast in Oklahoma.

We are in Elk City Oklahoma on Route 66 at the Farm Equipment and Route 66 Museum.

So glad to have naturally frizzy hair!

Meet Ringer, he has lived here for upteen years, has 4 kids, The oldest is an associate Pastor at the local Baptist Church, One is in Texas and One in California, his favorite daughter (his only, he says) is a school teacher in Edmond outside of Oklahoma City.  He was older than most of the equipment at the museum but very friendly and quite chatty.

Your ticket not only got you into the farm bldg but also the Rt 66 Museum.  They did a great job
and lots of history.  We also visited the one in Clinton Ok on our last trip, it was probably a little bigger.
Come in the summer and rent a convertable and drive the route.
